When upgrading your intercooler, it makes sense to replace the piping along with it. This will ensure your are getting the max benefit from both the larger intercooler and the better flow the piping offers. Complete intercooler kits give you everything you need to achieve this, and most installs are usually fairly straight forward bolt-ins.
Why should I upgrade my intercooler?
The benefit of a larger intercooler is that there is more surface area to help dissipate heat and lower those incoming air temps for your engine. There are multiple choices when it comes to size, from 3 to 4 inches depending on your horsepower goals.
