If someone could kindly get back to me about the brake pads I ordered I'd appreciate it. The customer service phone line is 90% static and I can't hear anything. The brake pads said they fit online but I didn't realize that it's for the Brembo option on the first gen 86. I have a second gen without brembos and I assumed the photo was generic so that's my fault. I'd like to return the pads since they don't work on my car. I'd love some assistance getting this resolved. Thanks!
This is my second time purchasing an AWE Tuning exhaust. My first being the track edition for my 2018 STi. Extensive research and video sound clips of many and I mean MANY exhausts, none compared to the sound and the quality of AWE.
So it was a no brainer when my new to me 2013 BRZ needed a new exhaust setup, I knew I wanted the AWE Tuning Touring Edition (the car is turboed, full 3" straight piped exhaust from the headers). Old exhaust was rested and leaking from poor weld quality (fully custom exhaust from previous owners)
Two different cars and I am very happy with my purchase.
If AWE made an exhaust for my husband's 350Z, we'd end up buying one for that. Lol
Also. Love that I can install it by myself. Easy to follow instructions that you scan using the QR code provided. No having to flip through paper pages. Also they give real photos of the installation process.
If you're thinking of getting a new catback, I highly recommend getting one of the AWE Tuning ones. Track or Touring Editions, you won't be disappointed.
Really can’t say much about oem parts except for how great they are. Amazing quality. Always go with oem
This this is heavy duty! It's made of thick stainless steel and wraps aroun the turbo and downpipe to protect the abs pump and hoses. Much better then the tin foil factory one that wouldn't stop the heat from a candle. MAP should look into making one to replace the one that sits over the manifold. The cast manifold already has the provisions to mount one so why not?!
Very nice piece From MAP. Excellent fitment, slid right into place like an oem part. It was between the AMS downpipe or this one and since I already had gone MAP with every other part, intercooler, manifold, intake and test pipe I wanted to keep it all one brand. There is only one flaw and it's the extra o2 bung. Wide band instructions state the sensor should be positioned so the sensor is angled down to allow condensation to run off. The bung positions the sensor about the 4 o'clock position so the sensor is angled upwards so condensation build up can cause premature sensor failure. There is not alot of room under the car for bung placement so I can see why MAP chose the location they did. I may add a bung in the elbow coming off the turbo since there would be room to put the sensor at the correct orientation.
The BOV is a beauty the install was nice and easy had some issues with the OEM hose and clamps but it's expected but overall it sounds great. Mix messages about the BOV but it's good to have something to circulate the air from your intake to your Turbo spool extra oxygen has to go somewhere and you don't want your engine to run too rich so let your air vent somewhere.
I knew I have chose the best one cause the sound I get after installing and till now the sound still makes me giggle with joy amazing intake if you want to know about the install I have a YouTube Channel that I do all my install myself. If I can do it so can all of you.
I did a k swap to my 98 integra, has bullboost longtube 4-1 headers then 3 inch all the way back to a vibrant muffler, it was LOUD and had a very harsh "typical honda" rasp around 3k rpm, ordered this resonator and it did EXACTLY what I was hoping it would do, Took away that rasp and now it's just a good solid bass tone. 5/5 would recommend anyone getting this
Beautifully cast piece. Bought this as an upgrade as my oem manifold did show any signs of cracking yet but after pulling it off the inside had long cracks. I was fortunate that with 133,000 km all my exhaust studs were not all rusty and seized and came out very easily. As others have stated, the one bolt right under one of the runners is a little tricky to get started in the hole. I opted to use the oem spring washers instead of the supplied nord-lock washer.
It's a gasket, does what it's supposed to do..
Quick shipment, quick install, quicker car. Love the intake noise and went from 11psi to 16psi with turbo.
Easy install, just as stated by the manufacturer. All parts transferred over nicely and it’s looks great, way better than the stock for sure!
The only problem is the hose fittings that come separately for self install, they feel cheaply made and don’t feel like a quality metal.
the sound is perfect and not super loud or annoying definitely worth the price and easy to install! very happy with it
This mount was a great buy. It's strong but doesn't give vibration inside the cabin.
I’ve researched a few exhausts and found that I like the exhaust note from this one the most. For myself the sound seems like it’s part of the car.
It’s nice and loud when you throttle it but produces a gentle hum around 2500rpm. So when you cruise it’s not super loud. Nice to have both options. I only have the cat back and no j pipe. I live in Cali.
And I think another cool thing is that it gives a nice little rumble if you gently come out of a stop.

Bought the dual bracket, only use support. Should have did this a long time ago. Worth every dime. Bumper doesn’t look like dooky anymore.
