Made my civic look nice!
Swapped the OE 18" Rims for the XXR 559 Slingshots. Went up a size to the 19x8.5 in chromium Black. Very pleased with them , turned out well , gets many compliments. Tricky to mount tires onto since the spokes are raised and run down to the wheel lip , but a good tech should have no issues . Mounted new Pirelli P Zeros , 235/35R19 .
Nice looking wheels! The 20 offset on my ‘21 STI pushed the stance out nicely. My current suspension is stock, so I do get some rubbing on the rear fenders over big bumps at hwy speeds. Will need to roll the fenders and/or change my suspension.
The wheels are great, product came in quickly, purchase was awesome... but...
I am a noob to the wheel game, so here are my takeaways. I did a lot of research on these wheels, matched my bolt pattern, the offset, the size and width for any poke or rub. What I failed at was the understanding of a universal fit. I had seen other posts that these fit on the Honda Accords with no modification but the tire shop did have to add wheel spacers to make the center ring fit properly. I don't think its a huge deal, but wanted others to be aware.
*Also I ordered Chromium Black, they are little more brighter than I expected but still look good.
