WORKS Throw 5-Speed Short Shifter - 2008+ EVO X

The WORKS Throw short shifter provides reduced travel when switching between gears. It incorporates a revised design to the OEM shape and leverage angles so your hand is located in a more natural position for the left hand drive Evolution. Includes hardware, installation instructions and a WORKS factory-matched warranty. The installation does NOT require any cutting/trimming of the factory carrier housing.

Now includes a new, pre-installed pivot bushing for a new feel and you don't risk destroying your original!

The works works. period. Easy install on MY15 EVO X. The gearbox now Feels sophisticated and precise. Do NOT wait to install - this is a must do. For your own sanity.

Awesome product

I was looking to switch up the stock shifter to something with a better feel and decided to go with this. The shifter position is noticeably different and gear engagements are quicker.

Another part I waited to give a review to test it out first, I can say you can definitely feel the difference in shifting of this. The position of it in neutral and all 5 gears plus reverse feels greatly improved. Installation is not hard at all other than maybe one clip on the right side that didn’t want to budge but other than it’s very simple plus be sure grease certain points to make it operate smoother.
