2013-2018 Ford Focus ST/RS Hood Louver Kit By Verus Engineering
The Verus Engineering Hood Louver Kit helps reduce engine bay heat and pressure. By improving the flow out of the engine bay, the louvers are able to improve airflow through the radiator and charge air cooler; achieving better cooling stack efficiency. By reducing the pressure buildup in the engine bay, the louvers reduce front end lift, creating a slight bump in front end downforce.
During the design process; we utilized scan data as well as CFD to place louvers that flowed well with the hood's contours, retain most of the underhood structural metal, and place the units in a low-pressure location on the hood.
This hood louver kit is for the MK3 Focus RS/ST owner looking for a purposely placed, built, and tested louver kit that improves the cooling and aerodynamic performance of the Focus RS and ST.

Bought these to keep the temps cool while on the track and they definitely help. A little scary cutting into your hood but its definitely worth it. On a 5 lap time attack run before the vents pushing the car hard I would hit 210-220 coolant temps and 215 oil temps but after the vents I am sitting right about 200 on both. (also with the help of other mods too)
I'd previously obtained vents made from fiberglass, they had no way to secure them in the hood and I was not sure it was worth all the labor necessary to install them. Then I saw these and was impressed, 16 bolts provide secure attachment to the hood. I'd recommend them for sure.
If you have a ST and don't feel like dropping 1,000 dollars on a hood this is definitely the best option. Will install this week and update with pictures.
