The bushings themselves were nice and damage free, I had my Tuner install the parts
Vibrations: you will feel and notice the increased vibrations, however it's not noisy or rattling, more like an old muscle car, you'll feel the cams and the injectors pulsating more at idle. This may or not increase depending on your build, I'm mostly stock with 2100cc injectors and the increase is fine for me
Driving: *paired with full driveshaft and rear diff bushings* - The car feels very solid, nearly zero drivetrain shock, much smoother and consistent engagement with the throttle or rather the power delivery making the car feel faster and much more predictable. very much worth it and breaths new life to your Evo.
So I bought these a year ago sometime and they have been holding up like a beast ever since. Totally recommend these or the full kit if you have a Evo x or even a base model. The Material is super sturdy so you’re not getting anything cheap
So far they look good haven’t put them on yet until I get the last 2 but definitely worth buying
Got the mounts quickly, thanks MAP!
They look nice and barely sustained any damaged between anodizing and my door, which is a plus. Only a couple knicks showing bright silver - shame they didn't just wrap it in bubble wrap coming back from plating...
The design of the rear mount (3 machined pcs bolted together) seems smart for manufacturing, but doesn't offer me much in terms of security that they will stay where I bolt them... I am not sure if I should pull the bolts holding the rear mount assembly apart now to apply loctite to them or just wait until they vibrate loose later. I would like to think that they would have included some loctite on those bolts, but they didn't think to include split lock washers (or any other locking provision) to keep the included bolts in-place - so it is anybody's guess...
Overall not complaining on the quality. The bushings themselves don't have a very professionally-finished appearance like Prothane or Energy Suspension bushings usually do, but they are nice and stiff - and seem up to the task.
Today I only bolted on the front roll stop (lazy) and I did notice more vibration already. The engine also doesn't feel as floppy in transition, so I am guessing 1 good roll stop would be plenty for a street car.
Direct feel + no motor rocking, esp if you have a downpipe. Semi-streetracecar, heads up youll hear more in car cabin noises/vibrations but for me it made the evo x a blast to drive & i love starting the car up.
