2008-2014 Subaru WRX/STI Rear Differential Inserts by Torque Solution
Torque Solution Polyurethane bushings are much harder compared to the OEM units. By replacing them with these harder Polyurethane units you can get rid of the unwanted slop and flexing of the stock units which allows for the power to go into rotating the tires, instead of flexing the rubber. Giving you better feedback, sharper response, and more predictability on throttle input, along with eliminating annoying clunking during hard shifts.

Easy installation. Great product for the money.
Cant beat it. Great product for low cost and easy install.
This part eliminates most of the flex in the rear differential upon takeoff. Hard to beat for $30. I feel like I noticed a slight increase in noise. There are no instructions, so you might have to look up the manual for a similar product like i did. The manual I read made it seem like you’d be able to put the inserts for the rear diff carrier on without taking it off. That was not my experience, I had to take it off completely. Support the rear diff with a floor jack and you’re golden
Install was simple . Only difference I really noticed is the clunk reduction ,maybe a tiny bit sharper response . Still pleased with the product though.
Combine this with the positive shift kit bushings and the Trans mount for a smoother and direct feeling shifter. Under acceleration there is a noticeable difference in how the car feels, definitely more planted and tight. It doesn’t really accelerate any quicker but you feel more of the torque and it feels sharper if that makes sense. If you are smooth with the clutch you are rewarded with a smooth engagement and none of the jerky motion even when shifting under hard acceleration. If you dump the clutch between shifts it still jerks a bit but nowhere near as bad as it was before. Also never dump the clutch ;) There is more nvh when taking off from a stop or accelerating but you get used to it after a week or so. My passengers haven’t complained so it isn’t that bad. Overall worth every penny.
