Torque Solution engine & transmission mounts are made from high grade 6061 billet aluminum material. The factory mount is a rubber material that cracks and contains a viscous oil and is prone to failure leaving fluid all over the engine bay. Torque Solution mounts come standard w/ Limited Lifetime Warranty polyurethane bushings giving you peace of mind. By tightening up the drive line you are allowing the car to put more power to the ground and into the rotating tires. Our mounts have been tortured tested and proven to last a lifetime. Great mounts. Fast shipping. Tighten everything up. Great throttle response. The vibration is not as bad as I thought. Would recommend if you are building your gti for speed not comfort.wish wish they would put a bracket in there for people with oil catch cans thought. Great product.
these mounts keep your engine right in place i love them so far, but don’t get them if you’re not okay with your car shaking/vibrating because it does a lot. it is also worth noting that these mounts fit the 2006-2008.5 VW GTI/GLI with the FSI engine. that’s what i have and everything went in just fine. i highly recommend the kit as you can’t beat the price and performance
Mounts are as good as u could ask for and map performance has great customer service we had a small hiccup and they corrected it in a timely manner will definitely order from them again
This part does NOT fit the 2012 Tiguan (or probably any year). Verified by the manufacturer, as well, who ALSO listed it wrong.
Extremely fast shipping, very solid mounts, not for the faint of heart. yes there is plenty of noise, vibration, and harshness but not unbearable. They’re definitely racing/performance mounts. If you’re sensitive to a little bit of feeling the car characteristics being amplified, don’t waste your time. These make the car feel stiff, strong, and mechanical. Extremely impressed with both the design, the look, and performance. No shaking at all. Exactly what the doctor ordered!! Thanks MAPerformance. Will order from again.
