Awesome Catback!!!

I ha e done years and years on research of different catback systems that are available on the market today. I have to say there TONS out there. From researching on how big the piping is and what the piping is made out of to give off a variety of sounds. I have a 2014 subaru xv crosstrek premium and did countless of researching of what would be the best and to give my crosstrek that amazing sound that everyone knows from the wrx/sti. I seen a video on YouTube with someone that has the same vehicle as mine and bought this catback system and fit perfectly besides changing up one rub er hanger at the muffler. I bought it, installed it and I have to say this was the sound I was looking for. The deep throaty growl sounds amazing with the addition of all the snap crackle and pops. This system is really loud so if you do t want something loud this isn't for you but, if you are looking for something to give the true sound of a subaru this is the one. Being made out of titanium it's very light weight. Totally recommend this catback and thank you to Tomei for making such an amazing product.

Great sound

Very nicely made, real titanium too. I put this on a 2010 wrx hatch and it sticks out the rear bumper by a foot so it looks a tinee tiny bit odd, but when your flying by traffic no one can tell. Also every time I cold start it cracked and pops while idling which is really cool. Quick tip if you have same car as me and you want to make pops and bangs on demand (stock manifold, stock up pipe and stock down pipe), 1st gear rolling at 1500 rpm begin to gradually floor it, like mmmmrrrrrrrrrreeeeaaaaaAAAAA let off gas at 5800-6000rpm and wait .5 seconds before pushing clutch (practise so you don’t lose momentum) it’lll go BANG POP, as fast as you can when you pushed the clutch in smash it into second and rev match into second (if done right you’ll be at perfect rev in second without touching gas), immediately floor it to 6100 in second and do same steps to shift and if done correctly you will hear the loudest BANG of your entire life, once in third floor it at about 7/8 of full throttle (don’t flood it) and as your getting up to speed try to match the acceleration with gas by going full throttle (4000rpm = 7/8 throttle — 5000rpm= 15/16 throttle and then full at 5500, use your gut feeling to get the best acceleration without flooding) at exactly 6000 again in 3rd gear do same shifting procedure to get to fourth and you will get another BANG, it won’t be as loud as second but still a very nice sound, once in fourth gear you have to be very careful with gas because it’ll accelerate slower so you have to give it more gas slower, at 5800rpm shift to 5th, I haven’t had any pops in this transition so it’ll require more testing, once in 5th carry it to however long ya want. Just a quick warning make sure your tire pressures are at 32psi and that you’re running 17inch wheels (what I’ve got) oh and don’t hold it higher than 6000 too long in 5th (it’ll blow up from over heating). Have fun and drive safe hope this helps
