Expreme Series Unequal Length Header for 2015 - 2021 Subaru WRX by Tomei

Every flaw of the OEM header has been addressed and improvised during the development of the Tomei header, resulting in power gains you can feel throughout the powerband of the car. The OEM headers restrict air flow resulting in loss of power and efficiency. Tomei headers do not restrict air flow resulting in an increase in power and efficiency.

The turbo side of the OEM headers severely restricts the flow of the exhaust gas, resulting in loss of power and efficiency. The collector on the Tomei headers were made using the lost wax method. The lost wax method allows the collector pipes to merge smoothly, therefore eliminating any restrictions on the header.

The OEM headers turbo side port is severely restricted by its 33mm port on the header. The slide adjuster on the Tomei header allows users running thicker head gaskets to appropriately extend the header to accommodate for the thicker head gasket. The flange on the Tomei headers is highly rigid, lightweight, and has a stepless flange.

Perfect

I daily drive my car. This is perfect for that. Not too loud with a catalytic converter. But sounds good when you are at like 3-4k RPM’s . Install was rough but that was due to a bolt being rusted. Besides that everything was great!!!

OMG!

I am amazed... everyone said this and that about going UEL, if you want it like I have go get it! I have Tomei titanium cat back and catted j-pipe paired and yes it's a bit loud but I have had nothing but praise from everyone about the header sound. My pro tuner did a great job and I hit 400 whp and 374 tq with this header and it feels smooth while pulling. Everybody looks when I come around, it sounds somewhat like a mustang 5.0 rumble but not so high pitch.

Amazing

At first, I was skeptical as to if this was going to be worth it or not. Let me tell you that it is. The quality is amazing. The sound is incredible. Overall an amazing product. 10/10 would recommend it if you want that subie rumble back.

Exactly what I expected

The beast has awoken, she’s alive now. My WRX is a daily and it was worth every bit of money/time spent for the smile going through the underpass. Performance isn’t effected at all, they won’t increase your numbers by much but that’s not why you want UEL anyway. Pure sound, how it should of been from factory. Spool on the twin scroll still feels just as strong. If not more responsive. Be sure to snag the grimmspeed stud kit and use PB blast 24hrs prior, to loosen up any build up.

Too Shelf

I am completely satisfied with the Tomei header and the process that MAPERFORMANCE provided to purchase the product. I highly recommend my next purchase and encourage others also . Kyle assisted with this and is an asset to MAP. Thanks again , sponsor Fred
