The STM Evo X Clutch Line features a braided, stainless steel construction with a smooth, Teflon coating to keep your engine bay free of scratches. This is a direct replacement for the squishy, factory rubber hose and will give you a smoother, stiffer pedal feel.

10 out of 10 would definitely go this route again. it was a super easy install even tho the space is tight. It looks amazing compared to the old rubber line as well as gets rid of all the joints prone to leaking. Half my Evo is map parts and they haven’t let me down yet. New clutch line fit like a glove and is working perfectly. Not easy to get the old line off due to the location of connection at the CMC. There is a horseshoe clip (like the old school window cranks had) that you need to pop to the side with a tiny screwdriver, and the old line pops right off. A lot to remove to replace the line, including my bumper due to the Injen Evo intake. Would buy again if needed.
Install was pretty easy once you get the weird clip that holds the stock line to the master cylinder figured out. Removed the stock line and replaced with this STM SS Braided line, also removed the restrictor "pill" from the slave cylinder at the same time.
The previous owner had already installed a stage 3 - 2600 street clutch, so I'm not sure why he didn't do any of this before. Anyway, these two changes have made a world of difference in terms of clutch feel and clutch engagement predictability/repeatability. Definitely recommend.
I've bought this Item hoping it would fit on my 2012 Lancer to Evo X Master Cylinder Clutch Replacement.
was tired of seeing aluminum line.
It simply was the perfect Line, No mods on the line to fit, wasn't satisfied the first attempt because it was leaking due to not enough torque. (i personally didn't want to over tighten
after disassembling it and Re-torquing the fittings and wanted to make sure it stayed on I put on Loctite Medium-Strength Threadlocker, Blue Liquid on it.
it held Greatly after that, no leakage.
My Lancers works perfectly again with an amazing upgrade from a plastic/aluminum cylinder and steel line.
