The STM Intake Heat Shield for the Evo X is designed to protect your air filter from the hot air off your fans. Made in-house of aluminum, this will bolt into existing factory holes on the frame rail and includes stainless hardware for a clean and easy install.

Looks great and well made. However, I had to enlarge one of the drill holes to reposition as the back end of the shield was pressing against the neck of my air filter on my CAI. The BOV had been relocated toward the front engine compartment and that was a little tight too. But the brushed aluminum is clean. Gets the job done blocking the cooling fan.
