2008-2015 Mitsubishi Evo X 2 Piece Aluminum Undertray by SSP
After listening to customer suggestions we have now came up with the most comprehensive solution for replacing the oem Mitsubishi Evolution 10 plastic under panel currently available. Not only did we address the issue regarding the insane shipping costs by making this a two piece unit, we have also managed to incorporate a front Jack Point location. And we were able to do all this while maintaining the structural integrity and level of protection you would expect from a Southside Performance Under Panel.

Overall happy it's just a little finicky to install. I had to reroute my an oil cooler lines to make this fit as it's a pretty tight fit underneath. During my install I ran into an issue with the cross member brace bar. I'm not sure if my shield is slightly off or if it's the actual subframe that's slightly tweaked but I couldn't line up the undertray and the bolt holes. My car does have a rebuilt title and was in a front end collision so that could be affecting it. I would have been nice to see the cross member brace bolt holes made oval instead of circular just to allow that little bit of adjustment if needed. Besides that it wasn't too bad of an install. Definitely jack your car as high as you can and use your legs, some buckets or jackstands to hold the undertray up while you start bolting it up.
I really like the holes it has for the oil filter, oil drain plug and jacking point. The oil filter and jacking point are removable, the oil drain plug is just left open. It would've been nice to see one for the transmission drain plug and for the transfer case as well, especially for the price point. Even though those aren't as frequent.
Overall id recommend this to others, it does seem a little expensive for what it is and the issues that I ran into with it.
My plastic liner was saging and had a crack in one of the panels. This was an excellent replacement. Took about an hour to install
Great product! a little expensive, cant say its worth the price. However for states with bad winters its worth it. Definitely beats the price of having to remove 10 pieces from the original undertray. Hoping this is the only replacement i will ever need. The manufacture could use some better instructions as well.
High quality undertray!
Should have done this mod much sooner. Purchased because I cracked my OEM plastic tray pretty bad, so I figured why not upgrade at the same time. Install was easy, tray looks awesome, and it really cleans up the bottom of the car from all that flimsy plastic. I think it also gives a little more clearance underneath the car now. Must have for lowered Evo’s to protect the underside of your car.
