Royal Purple HPS Series motor oil is specifically formulated to maximize performance and meet the demands of high performance and modified engines. HPS is recommended for vehicles no longer under manufacturer warranty and for those seeking a higher level of performance and protection.

Royal Purple HPS oils are fortified with a high level of zinc / phosphorus anti-wear additive and a generous dose of Royal Purple’s proprietary Synerlec additive technology. These unique formulations enable HPS oils to outperform leading synthetic and conventional lubricants in both gasoline and diesel engines.

Best Oil

HPS contains added zinc which is a friction modifier that reduces heat and stress on the engine. Gains are better MPG, more horsepower and longevity. I've been using this oil for almost 8 yrs now and love it. Was ordered and shipped in under 5 days

The only oil I will ever buy

I know a lot of people hate on royal purple, but their 10w40 HPS blend is top notch. It has a 1200+ zinc/phosphate count and for it being a heavier weight oil, the cold start warm up in my Evo 8 is pretty quick. I do a lot of racing and this oil definitely delivers on protection and has excellent lubrication. Unlike the standard royal purple you get off the shelf at walmart, the HPS lasts and doesn't break down as fast as other royal purple oils are known to do. I always change my oil every 2k miles (personal preference) but what I've noticed is the oil I drain out, looks just as good as the day I poured it in. I definitely do not plan on changing oils any time soon and will be a repeat customer as far as the RP HPS oil.
