Fuel Pulse Damper (OEM Style)
This OEM quality damper features a 3/8" NPT male thread with impregnated pipe thread paste. The opening and closing of the injectors creates pulses in the fuel rail, which can lead to unstable fuel pressure. This damper should be used (especially with high flow injectors) in order to achieve a safe and consistent rail pressure. The internal diaphragm will absorb oscillations and smooth fuel pressure. This correction can be measured throughout the RPM range and can often help an erratic surging idle.

What's In The Box?
- (1) Fuel Pulse Damper
Drilled and tapped my fuel rail to 3/8-18 and fuel pressures are very stable with 1300cc injectors and walbro 450
I upgraded my stock fuel injectors, rails, lines, filter, and pressure regulator. The stock setup had a single inline damper on the main feed line. My new fuel rails were already tapped for individual pulse dampers so I decided to install one of these on each fuel rail. My AFRs are very stable, and I’m sure it's a group effort between all the new parts, plus the fact that the new setup is parallel feed. But regardless these dampers are a small but important part to have on a proper fuel system.
Bought this to go on my AEM fuel rail on my Evo VIII. Install was simple a quick. If you plan to install directly to your fuel rail, you will probably need a 3/8 to 1/8 adapter. I got one from a local hardware store. Be sure you don't over tighten because you can end up going too far and damaging the fuel rail.
Now on to performance. This little guy noticeably helped my AFR's stabalize and I stopped having wacky spikes. I know Radium sells a more expensive unit, but this one worked just fine for my set up. I wish it would of had color options, but some high temp paint fixes that. Overall it was a good buy and I'd buy it again.
