I ordered a helmet after renting helmets several times for 24 Hours of LeMons. When I did the recommended head measurement, I was right at the max for size Medium. Since I’d rented Large helmets in the past (and because I was so close to the max in Medium, I decided to go for the large. I’m really glad I did, because the large size here is still *extremely* snug and a tight fit. It could be just because the internal padding is so new so everything is tight, and maybe it’ll settle down.
I was slightly worried that even the large would be too tight and that I should have gotten an XL. However, after a weekend of several hours of racing, I can report back that the tight fit didn’t bother me, and is probably safer anyway.
I’m glad I got the orange color too. I hope Pyrotect makes more non-B/W colors!
