Oil Galley Plug for Subaru Applications by Prosport

This plug replaces the stock main oil galley plug located on the drivers side. This plugs has a threaded center to allow the installation of any 1/8" NPT Sender. This is own own part that Prosport manufactures to specifically accept 1/8" NPT senders. 17mm hex is too large for a 07 Legacy GT rear galley install.

The existing engine plug this replaces is an allen socket head. There is not enough clearance to accept a standard 17mm socket. Even very challenging with a crows foot. Absolutely requires a remote relocate of the oil pressure sender - 1/8NPT hose and elbow.

Perfect fitment!

product is made of good quality and works fantastic for the aem oil pressure sensor since the oem plug has different threads to fit the one that’s on my 2017 Subaru sti.

Best Solution

This has suited its purpose in installing my AEM oil pressure sender unit to my gauges, in stock position under my alternator. Of coarse using in conjunction with a relocation kit.
