2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T Intercooler Upgrade Kit by PRL Motorsports
It’s no secret that Honda’s 1.5L turbo Civic is extremely susceptible to heat-soak, especially when retaining the factory intercooler. Excessive heat-soak increases the risk of detonation and causes major power-loss due to high charge air and cylinder temperatures. These issues become even more prevalent with spirited driving and/or increased power outputs.
The PRL Motorsports intercooler upgrade decreases charge air temperatures while increasing potential airflow with its dense 550+ horsepower rated (though we have pushed 600+) 25.6x4x6.3” bar-and-plate bar-and-plate core and machined billet aluminum end tanks!
This intercooler utilizes factory mounting spots with our embossed end tanks. Kits will come with all hardware needed for a seamless install.
NOTE: REMOVAL OF LOWER FACTORY INTAKE AIR BOX DAMPER IS RECOMMENDED FOR OPTIMAL FITMENT

Quality highly recommend won’t regret it easy installation very excited with my intercooler
Awesome product to buy if not the best. Maperformance and PRL are the top brands for my civic and I love how I can get the best out of both here at Maperformance. Not too much of a hassle to install but very worth it to help with my heat soak.
Took 2 hours for me and my brother to put on. The instructions were really straight forward until it got to the point of putting it on. it doesn't mention what bolts go to what. but after we tried to mount it and see what made sense it was smooth sailing again. I kind of wish they would revise the last part of the instructions to be a bit more clear.
Really though, a well made product.
Easy install with great quality product
Good build quality, paired it with the pipes as well, easy to install. Definitely recommend for hotter climates
