Subaru WRX/STI Turbo Heat Shield by Perrin Performance
The PERRIN Turbo Heat Shield is CNC formed from 304 stainless steel. The backside of the shield is cut to fit all aftermarket downpipes. It is also adjustable front to back allowing the tuner to cover as much of the turbo as possible from application to application. High quality stainless steel hardware included.
Our shield covers more of the turbo charger, leaving less of the exhaust housing exposed. It covers the top of the downpipe, the sides of the turbo and is formed to fit around the wastegate arm. All to help keep heat under the shield where it belongs! The PERRIN Turbo Heat Shield is adjustable to allow the shield to be pulled over the turbo as much as possible.
The PERRIN Turbo Heat Shield uses only high quality spot welds that pass the "Nugget Test". During a production run, we actually ripped apart a test joint. The sheet metal should fail before the weld, leaving a small "nugget" of metal behind, verifying the spot weld penetrated all layers of metal.

Came boxed well and no defects no scratches or imperfections in the metal. Install was very easy and cleared my invidia downpipe with extra O2 bung with plenty of adjustment either way
Greater coverage than oem or anything else out there. Adjustable from front to back, compatible w/ aftermarket down-pipes. Super easy install. 3 mounting bolts in upper bracket which you should purchase as well, bolts are usually welded. Nice touch in engine bay

Very nice as expected from perrin. Fit my 17sti like a glove. Comes with hardware and tool. Logo is embossed which is neat. Cant beat this one.
Fits perfect due to adjustable design and has enough clearance for O2 wideband. Highly recommend for stage 2.
