Mitsubishi OEM Rear O2 Sensor | 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (1588A144)

A lot of people are finding that Mitsubishi cross threaded the rear o2 sensor into the catalytic converter. Because of paranoia and delusion, I frequently subscribe to conspiracy theories, so my suspicion is that they did it on purpose to hinder modification and to fight warranty claims, as they clearly want to wash their hands of this vehicle asap!
I removed this sensor with 400 miles on the car and destroyed the threads, and the threads on the cat too! I had a couple of choice words for mitsubishit, which I won't share here.
All I can say is....why bother putting antiseize on threads you are going to bugger up. Niceeeeee.
Anyways, this sensor was on back order, and Mo tracked it down and got one out to me as fast as he could. I will definitely shop at MAP again, their staff went out of their way to communicate with me multiple times during the process.
