2008-2017 Lancer Upper Rear Strut Bar by Megan Racing
One-Piece Race Spec Strut Tower Bar constructed of strong Aluminum to extremely tight tolerances and then polished to perfection. Designed to tie the chassis from left to right at critical stress points (Between the shock/strut towers).
As you drive and maneuver, your car undergoes many different forces that the chassis of the car absorbs; the brace helps to absorb the energy and directs these forces into your suspension components so that they can better do their job and serve their purpose more effectively. A must for any track-driven, and a great addition to any street or show car, this bar truly lives up to the Megan Racing name.

Alright, so this is listed as the rear strut bar as of time of purchase/review, but when I recieved it, it came as the front strut bar. Upon further looking into it, megan racing only offers the front strut bar so there is a bit of an error there, not too sure where a rear strut bar could even go when I looked in the trunk.
That being said, the front strut bar I received performs exceptionally well. My shocks are worn and I was hoping to stiffen up the ride until upgrading to coilovers, and this did just that. (Currently running eibach pro lowering springs for a more accurate comparison.) Theres less body roll and the front feels like the center of gravity has lowered. The best explanation is that the bar runs a bit lower than the stock one (unfortunately it vibrates on my aftermarket UICP, ultimate racing, so I have to do something to prevent this) and because of the lower bar the forces are transferred at a lower point causing the center of gravity to lower at the front. It makes for good driving! The steering response is more immediate, there is more control, I feel more on top of the steering, the car comes out of corners faster, and it made me a lot happier! Definitely reccomend!
