2022+ WRX Axleback Exhaust by MAPerformance
Our engineering and fabrication team at Modern Automotive Performance is proud to present the MAP Axleback Exhaust system for the 2022+ Subaru WRX.
These axlebacks are highly durable, and were designed using 2.5" tubing constructed from quality T304 Stainless Steel. They feature 3/8" laser-cut flanges, mandrel bends, and are TIG-welded to perfection. Designed with ease of installation in mind, these will bring out a deeper and more aggressive tone from your vehicle.
They also look as good as they sound! The stylish 3.5" dual exhaust tips are the icing on the cake, and are available in standard stainless steel or burnt blue. These are designed as a direct fit at the OEM Y-Pipe. These axlebacks include 3/8" exhaust hangers to fit the factory exhaust hanger locations.

The exhaust came super quick although it was during peak holiday times. I stalled it on my girlfriends 22’ wrx and it took me a total of an hour which if I had an actual lift I would’ve been done significantly faster. The note the axel back brings to her car is quite good.
By far my favorite mod to my VB yet. Love hearing the sound of my car. I’ve had the exhaust for about 3 weeks now and every time I drive my car I can’t believe how good it sounds. Installation was super easy. Highly recommend this MAPerformance axleback 10/10
Install is simple, 4 bolts, 4 hangars, 2 clamps, super quick and easy. Sounds great, cold start is a bit obnoxious imo but it settles quick and sounds great driving. Drone is not bad at all, gets annoying cruising at 75 but speed up/slow down a couple mph and it's gone. Pops a couple times on shifts as well. 10/10
Install was simple. All hardware was provided. Basically 4 bolts and a couple clamps. The only thing I didn’t like was that it came in 4 separate pieces. I would have much preferred to see the tips welded onto the assembly instead of having to clamp them. Still, I give it a 5/5 and suggest this over the other options on the market. The sound is great especially under WOT. It really pops between shifts.
