EJ Series 4-1 Subaru Equal Length Header

New equal length turbo manifold for your EJ20/EJ25 series Subaru! Made from top quality 304 stainless, this header will be the last one you will ever need to buy. Efficient and proven on power, and with a lifetime warranty... How can you go wrong?

Ceramic Coating: Our advanced ceramic coating option helps control heat soak. The piece is coated in a thermal barrier (available in black only) that looks great and protect wires and hoses from heat. Please note the coating may need some extra "curing" to prevent flaking after installation. Please allow the part to heat up during normal driving or idling and then completely cool before putting it through it's paces.

Quality with some install work

First and foremost the product itself is quality. Piping and welds are great. I purchased the coated header and everything looks mint. As for install... Anyone installing this on a ej20 or 04/05 sti, you will need 06+ oil pan/dipstick, preferably wrap the coolant line to the oilcooler from the water pump with heat shield because its a super tight fit, i ended up routing it up further to keep as much clearance as possible. If you are using an aftermarket radiator, in my case (cobb) you will likely need to trim the passenger side lower fan shroud. Car runs great with the header installed, just wanted to give anyone with a pre 06 model a heads up because the instructions are slim, and there isnt much info online.

Best around

Absolutely the best welds I have seen super easy install sounds great and you can’t beat the bump in power you get

The header wouldn't fit the stock oil pan on my 04 STI. Needed to get an aftermarket pan to make it work. Unexpected and not really welcome, but it does work once you adapt the car.

Instrumental Part of a HIGH HP STi

What can I say? Very happy with this header! The quality, fit and finish is top notch. The fitment is on point - bolted up very easily with no fitment issues to the heads or the Grimmspeed up pipe. The sound is phenomenal! Pure, resonant, crisp. Mated with the Grimmspeed EWG up pipe, Invidia catless downpipe and R400 exhaust, the sound is mellow at idle and low RPM, but shrieks wonderfully on WOT. And along with the help of 272/272 GSC cams, it retains the classic boxer sound - it still sounds uniquely EJ257. The performance of the header is clear - it supports HIGH HP builds, ours being built around an FP Zero turbo; 625WHP on a mustang dyno (flex fuel, E75, not even E85); breaking 600whp around 5900rpm... and still cranking over 600whp at 7300rpm. We'll see what ET's and trap speeds we get out of it soon enough.
