Cam Angle Sensor Heat Shield for Evo X
Removing the factory heat shield or running an after market tubular exhaust manifold on your Evo X will likely result in cam angle sensor failure due to additional heat exposure, unless of course you do something to prevent it. Easy fit and works great. My sensor was getting melted so I ordered this and it's already protecting it. Best investment ever.
Cheap insurance against melting a sensor or wiring. A tubular manifold would probably benefit more from this then the cast manifold but great little heat shield non the less. Mine was shipped with the wrong size bolt. It came with an M6 bolt but the hole was an M8. Had a bolt lying around that worked so not a big deal.
The screw is a super tight fit because of the tubular manifold, but it works. I bought this along with the tubular manifold to protect the sensor.
