4B11 Torque Plate by MAPerformance

A torque plate is essential during any boring or honing process. When you torque a head down on the block the threads will cause the cylinder bore to slightly deform, a torque plate takes the place of the head to simulate any distortion that will be caused when the head studs/bolts are tightened. Using a torque plate while boring and/or honing removes these slight bore irregularities.

    Excellent Tool for Precision Engine Building

    I bought this plate from MAP for my Evo X engine build, after carefully reviewing information on AMS and BHJ's offerings I decided to go with MAP's Torque Plate. Item is a work of art, cnc'd billet alluminum with all the correct spacers. The MAP Emblem is a nice touch as well. My machine shop admired the plate as well. Another great product made in America!
