Was on the fence about what dp I wanted to run. I am not looking for too much power so I went with this since it was a solid one piece and has a hi-flow cat (I would normally go for non-catted, but I have kids now). The only issue I had was the disassembly of the original down pipe because of all the rust. But I used an extension (roughly 10 inches) and a swivel bit to get to the two spring bolts on the DP. After that, every thing else was a breeze! I am pairing the with a Greddy RS Race car back. Isn’t too loud at all and sounds pretty good!
I purchased the high flow option of this down pipe and I love it! The quality and welds are amazing. Shipping was fast and installation was simple. I have an ams cat back and with this downpipe compared to stock dp it produces a much deeper growl. I Highly recommend! And MAPerformance customer service was great as always!
Perfect fit even with hks catback and a little inconvenient to remove and mount the turbo bolts but with patience and determination can be done without any science
Paired this with the Invidia Q300 catback exhaust. Took the car out for a spin with just the downpipe. Was fun and extremely loud but would get annoying quick. Fairly easy install but did it on jack stands and had slight troubles bolting it on to the turbo. Great sounding, quality part.
