Divorced Wastegate Catted Downpipe by Invidia
For a strong boost in power, the Invidia Down Pipe offers an alternative to other power-boosting enhancements. If you're looking to get more power from your turbocharged vehicle, then the downpipe is usually where most start. The factory downpipe is high restrictive, and Invidia addresses this issue with their Catted Downpie with the Divorced Wastegate option. This downpipe has been crafted from 304 stainless steel, and has a 3" piping diameter to allow the exhaust gasses to escape which improves throttle response and reduces turbo lag, and you will see increases in both horsepower and torque.

Man, I love how my WRX sounds with the Invidia divorced downpipe. About a month before installing the downpipe I installed the Invidia N1 catback exhaust because the original I bought it with started to leak so I replaced it. I loved the sound of it with just the catback exhaust but it annoyed me that I had the original downpipe with it so I went ahead and bought the Invidia divorced downpipe. With just the catback exhaust you could slightly hear the turbo spool but it was kind quiet unless you paid attention. Right after installing the downpipe I quickly heard the difference in the turbo. Now it has a really nice spool and the turbo whistles. Not only that but I quickly felt the difference in power after installing the downpipe, the car feels less heavy and you can tell the air just flows better. if you want more horsepower I definitely recommend getting the Invidia downpipe and the Invidia N1 cutback exhaust, it is definitely worth it. Just getting a catback exhaust won't really make a difference in performance if you don't have a good downpipe. If you just want the car to sound a little meaner then just get the catback but if you want the car to sound meaner, the turbo to spool and the car to be quicker and funner to drive than get the whole Invidia exhaust system. I installed it myself and the only thing that was a pain in the butt was replacing the stock downpipe because it brings a lot of unnecessary things around it and you have to remove a couple of things on top of the engine before being able to start taking it apart from the bottom. If you worried about how much a shop will charge you to replace a downpipes and a cutback exhaust then you're probably looking around 3-4 hours of labor.
