Rally X Skid Plate
The IAG Performance skid plate is designed to replace the factory plastic splash guard on the 2002-07 WRX/STI. It is 3/16" thick and bent from a single piece of 5052 aluminum. It is well suited on both lowered street cars as well as off-road rally cars. It provides protection to the headers and oil pan from the front of the U-frame back to the transmission brace. The bottom of the plate features a brushed finish. In additional to the standard installation hardware, we also include a second set of bolts and spacers that allow installation on vehicles that require additional clearance due to aftermarket headers.

I live in ND where its freezing, bumpy, and snows ALOT! So i got this because i didnt want the OE plastic skid plate no more, and it was such a great buy! it was super easy to install(other then the fact i had 2 broken bolts) and the way it made my car look so aggressive, gave that rally vibe. but for the price, and brand you can not beat it. i promise you will have no regrets.
NOTE: i did take some fine abrasive pad, and clean up the edges on the "IAG" logo just cause they were alittle sharp. but thats just me!
It’s perfect if you live in a crappy town wiht bad roads and bottom out everywhere 10/10 would recommend
First I want to let you know that I received this skid plate a lot faster than I had anticipated! Thumbs up for being that quick! Anyways, I have a lowered 06 wrx and drive on a gravel road everyday. Not an ideal setup without a skid plate for sure. Once I got this installed (only took about 10 minutes by myself) I was able to rest assured that my oil pan is no longer in danger. The plus side to all of this though? I now know exactly where my 10 mm socket falls since the skid plate is there to stop it!
