Volkswagen Golf/GTI Mk7 Rear 24mm Sport Sway Bar by H&R
H&R Sport Sway Bars are crafted from a special (hf) 50CrV4 steel alloy€”the highest tensile strength available. The quality of the material and design guarantees smooth transitional sway bar function€”decreasing the feedback response time€”and increases stiffness over stock. H&R Sport Sway Bars improve a vehicle€™s lateral stability and cornering grip, while reducing body roll.
H&R Sport Sway Bars are precision engineered€”designed and manufactured to be strong, resilient, and durable. Adhering to the same manufacturing philosophy as H&R€™s world-renowned springs, H&R Sport Sway Bar design and production receives significant attention to detail and commitment.
Each sway bar is cold-formed and heat-treated, with forged seamless bar ends. H&R shot-peens the sway bars to increase durability and check for dimensional correctness. At H&R€™s ISO9001 certified manufacturing facility in Germany, production is completed in-house and each sway bar must pass a series of rigorous quality control tests to earn H&R€™s approval and yours.

It appears as if no quality was Speared when building this sway bar, which I really appreciate. Driving wise, it sits flat in corners on my mk7. I haven't notice any body roll during hard corner nor did the back wheels lost traction. I hammered it in a few corners with traction control off hoping the rear wheel lose traction to get that tail slide. That didn't work, my tires refuse to lose traction. I am please with the purchase but if I had a choice to buy a sway bar again, I would go 26mm. I am going to pair it with coilovers and see how that plays out.
I'd love to review the sway bar, but I have been without my GTI for a week a half now. The VW end links are crap, do NOT expect to reuse them as the stud for the ball joint cracks when trying to reassemble. Do yourself a favor and get end links when you get the sway bar. I'll review the bar and links when everything is reassembled and I've had a few days of 70 mile round trip commute to try them out.
