3" Adapter for Aftermarket Downpipe to OEM Catback by Grimmspeed

Exhaust leaks seem to be an all-too-common issue with most modded Subarus. They tend to spring up out of nowhere and cause hours of troubleshooting headaches. The most guaranteed leak you will get though is if you run an aftermarket 3" downpipe to an OEM or OEM like 2.5" Exhaust. Cut from Steel and hand welded these pieces were born tough. With the ability to work with both flat style gaskets AND donut gaskets they cannot be matched. If that wasn't enough we flared out one end to just shy of 3" so that unlike the competitors, our adapter will not block flow!

    necessity when running most downpipes

    I bought the MAPerformance downpipe, and I already had an AWE touring catback. This adapter is a necessity since most downpipes will end in a 3in exit, while most aftermarket catbacks will enter with a 2.5 in. Got it for a great price and great customer service.

    For EVO Xers. If keeping the stock downpipe to a 3" High Flow Cat better get this. If not you will have an exhaust leak and will through off your stock O2 in the down pipe. Granted the shipping is a little high, but the price of the part is well worth it, not the shipping. Tried to get adaptor flange else where, but "Sorry not in stock". MAP had this and ready to ship. Some people don't understand that we want to enjoy our cars now. Ordered other things from MAP products and got them in a timely manner. Love MAP. Everything states after market down to stock cat. Works pretty much for anything 2.5" to 3".
