I just finished installing the diff bushings and WHAT a difference. If you have an old, unloved Evo, but are afraid of solid bushings, these bushings are a must buy. No changes in NVH. Clunk is gone. THANK YOU!
Fast chipping easy install quieted my car right up thanks
I haven't got around to doing the mustache bar yet but with just the 2 differential mounts in the clunking is almost non existent. If you have grown tired of that nasty rear end clunk then this is a great solution for you.
Went with polyurethane because people say the billet is quite loud. These added minimal, if any, noise / vibrations and definitely feel better than stock. You'll be amazed how weak the stock bushings are when you remove them. I went with red so it's obvious they are upgraded unlike the plain black.
Had a shop remove the old bushings and these pushed in without a problem and I put some grease on them to make install extra smooth. Didn't have to pound the moustache bar bushings into the subframe like many people report needing. Just unbolted the 8 subframe bolts, lowered the rear differential and undid the moustache bar. Rear differential bushing were easy as well.
Maperformance did a great job and got the kit to me in 2 days! Always love dealing with them and you know you'll get a genuine product.
