Carbon Fiber 2-Piece Driveshaft

Driveshaft Shop is proud to introduce their new 2-piece driveshaft for the Evolution X. This shaft uses an Aluminum front section with a Chromoly rear section with a specially designed hanger bearing and bracket that eliminates the violent hanger lag that occurs when power is put through the factory shaft.

This design uses one hanger bearing, instead of two as on the factory shaft, and features greasable/replaceable U-joints instead of the non-serviceable type on the factory shaft.

An aluminum conversion plate is also included for the rear, as well as all necessary hardware to make this a bolt-on affair.

Good quality, saves weight, easy to replace bushings

I decided to purchase this drive shaft as the carrier bushings in my stock one were starting to wear. The OEM ones are a pain to replace (if not impossible), but this kit comes with an easy to remove bracket the bushing attaches to that can be replaced. As a bonus it weighs a lot less and is a two piece system rather than three so it's much easier to remove.

worth every penny..

my car is running ams 95a front engine mount and the rest is torque solutions solid mounts from engine all the way to the rear diff, the car would give you a really strong jerk from dead stop and a rear diff whine due to having solid mounts on the car.. i was going for a aluminum driveshaft but i read the cf is better it would reduce the shock from the divertain which is the strong jerk that im getting and it did!! after that my car is more driveable and the rear diff whine is mostly gone... i would recommend getting this if your doing track alot but not for drag strip..the only problem i had is that the bracket i had was bend and the bolts are too bigger than the hole on the bracket which is easy fix but since the bracket is really thin you would need a shorter bolts than the one that you have and im not sure if your supposed fo have a small gap from the tcas

Drive shaft shop carbon fiber

The drive shaft shop carbon fiber is a 2 piece compared to the 3 piece factory one, its a lot lighter, the car pulls a lot faster with no drama (it just go). Would I do it again. Yes.
Map performance customer service is very impressive to say the least.
