Cusco Front Power Brace | 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type-R / Sport (3C4-492-F)

With the combination of the strut tower brace and front power brace the suspension is much more ridged. The ride quality is better than stock and performance driving is much improved. A must have! I will be purchasing the complete Cusco sub-frame package very soon.

I have the front, rear, and center power braces from Cusco for the FK7 Civic. A noticable difference in chassis stiffness provides increased stability causing the vehicle to behave more predictably, specifically at or above normal highway speeds. All three were installed separately and all three make a noticable difference individually, while functioning best as a combination and even better with the addition of a strut tower brace.

Paired this with a Cusco rear brace and dcsports strut bar and oh boy I love how connected and stabile my hatch feels! Especially on initial turn in and center off! I personally would buy this a a standalone rather buy this and, at minimum, the rear brace to get the full effect! You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent brace better steering feel less flex. 5 stars

The quality of this piece of excellent. The collars around the mounting points are short, so the plastic covers will fit without any cutting, unlike other brands (I'm looking at you, Ultra Racing) who have decided to add giant thick collars that appear to serve no functional purpose.

The install is a breeze, if you fully remove all the cowling and underbody pieces. I did not, and I struggled getting the piece in under the two side pieces. If I did it again I'd be sure to remove all the pieces so I can just pop the piece right into place.

One caveat: the bar rubs against a radiator hose. The radiator hose bracket can be slightly bent so this does not happen and is probably a good idea. Take a look at it when you install yours. No one wants a coolant leak.
