Mitsubishi SF Airbox Kit Evo X
The Evo X SF Airbox is designed to be used along with the Evo X SF Intake System. Also compatible with the Hard Pipe Kit. The Evo X SF Airbox will protect the intake from turbulence caused by the radiator fans as well as heat radiating from the engine. A wrinkle black powder coat finish and laser etched COBB logo keep the engine bay tidy.

I had the Cobb intake and Inlet hose for a while before get the airbox, but I’m so glad I finally did. The snorkel fits perfectly into the airbox allowing direct flow of cool air into the intake. It also just looks badass in the engine bay. Cobb all the way!
Install was straigh forward makes the engine bay look cleaner
It was a easy install to do, it has kept my air intake temps down compared to not having the heat shield. Also looks awesome since you can see the intake filter. MAP did a fantastic job with shipping, keep up the great work. I am going to be a returning customer for sure!!!!
I ve been waiting for this for the longest. Cobb intake air box completed my Cobb collection. At one point I thought about running the intake but I didn't want to run it bare with no heat shield. Filter stay clean and I know I m gaining a few more ponys :)
