Golf GTI MK6 Cat-Back Exhaust by Cobb
The COBB Tuning SS 3" Cat-Back exhaust for your Golf GTI is a direct replacement for the factory exhaust! It comes with an adapter that tapers down to be used with the factory downpipe or can be used without the adapter and bolted directly to the COBB 3" downpipe. Engine resonance and turbo noises are amplified, but still kept in check through the 10" resonator and COBB stamped mufflers. Aesthetics are improved from the rear of the vehicle with dual-walled 4" tips featuring the COBB logo.

Beautiful pipes! True bolt on installation, took about 20 minutes once the old system was dropped. Looks absolutely STUNNING on the car too. The sound? Well this is a family program, so... @#$&!!!
For Christmas, I surprised my husband with a new exhaust for his car. Purchasing this item was beyond easy and the staff I worked with was absolutely astonishing. This exhaust brings out the very best sound in my mk6 gti. The whole install only took an hour and a half. Mostly because of the clamp bolts were giving me a tough time. The hangers fit perfectly on the flanges as well. The tips look amazing, shiny with the COBB logo etched on them look fantastic!
The sound is just perfect, a deep gurgling growl that really has a jackal and hyde personality when you step on the gas. It is louder than stock, but not too loud that will give you a headache. Just PERFECT for a daily driver. I was able to put the adapter piece on because i have the stock downpipe and it fit perfect. No leaks, no loose parts.
Overall this is a ten out of ten buy. Would recommend to anyone!
