Completed with stock flywheel I love it. However the dual mass fly will will be replaced soon with an aluminum single madd next time. Great clutch. Doesn’t like heavy traffic or drive thrus
I’m not the type to slam gears in my 2018 Si. But from day 1, and even the people putting it in said there will be chatter. That did happen along with a lot of other people I know this the fx300 and fx350. The break in period took about 2000 miles city driving, avoiding the highway. I adjusted the pedal after it broke in and it had been great...but it’s stArting to overheat now in traffic. I have a prl cai and stage 1 Vit tune. In sport mode it’s making 27psi max. A bit more than other people I know with the same etune. The clutch has handled it and performed perfectly, but it hates traffic, it does get to an almost overheating point so get a flywheel if you get an fx300 and if it chatters and it can’t be fixed get your money back.
When I bought my 2019 Civic Si, I was doing a tremendous amount of research on what the best clutch for the vehicle was in terms of strength, durability, drivability, and feel. This clutch has all of the above with 0 issues so far. It has a very nice firm feel to the pedal, but is still very comfortable for daily driving. It grabs hard in every gear, and I have had 0 issues with chattering, slipping, etc... I am very happy with my purchase and want to personally thank MAPerformance for shipping it to me so quick!
Grabbed fantastic for the first couple of weeks, noticed pedal engaging higher and higher throughout that time, after 3 weeks it started slipping and I’m 100 lbs/tq less than it states it can handle. Clutchmasters didn’t have much insight on the problem
