Clutch Masters FX200 Clutch Kit 04-11 STi

The FX200 System uses the Power Plus I Pressure Plate and a SteelBacked Kevlar disc. This clutch is designed for the street enthusiastor weekend racer. The FX200 offers similar torque holding capacity tothe FX100, however, its life expectancy is increased 2-3 times with theKevlar disc. Our Kevlar friction material is non-abrasive and doesn'tscore the mating surfaces. It features only slightly increased pedalpressure, significantly longer life than stock, and normal clutch feelduring engagement and disengagement for the smoothest operation of anystage we offer.

All stages come as a complete kit including disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, pilot bearing (when applicable), and alignment tool.

So far, great.

The clutch has been great during the 500 mile break-in period. Super smooth engagement from the start and very light pedal feel. I have not tried launching or driven it hard because I’ve been breaking it in. I also have an issue with my alky injection system that is keeping me from going full throttle but that will be fixed next week so I’ll really test it’s holdong capacity then (FYI, I’m putting down 370/380 HP and torque at the wheels). I believe it’s rated at 70% over stock HP which is just about where I’m at so, we will see, but I don’t expect any problems as I’ve had this clutch on my car before.
