Tucked Aluminum Radiator for Nissan 240SX / S13 / S14 / S15 / R32 by Chase Bays
The Chase Bays Tucked Radiator for Nissan 240sx Silvia S chassis and Skyline R32 is designed for those wanting to open up space in their crowded engine bays, get a better look aesthetically, and improve cooling power. It offers more fluid capacity than most aftermarket rads, more direct airflow, and dual pass design. We shorten 8" of space but increase the width and thickness to compensate. This radiator has been rigorously track/drift tested for nearly a decade & is on countless show winning engine bays.
Chase Bays has designed the radiator to be completely reversible with interchangeable inlet/outlet types. Radiator inlet and outlet have to be on same side since it's a dual pass design. With their new design the radiator orientation is completely reversible. It looks the same on top and bottom and brackets are centered. The inlet and outlet are -20AN female threads. If you change your mind down the road, there's no cutting and welding the radiator. Just threading on new adapters. Chase Bays offers OE style 1.38" and 1.5" along with -16AN and -20AN. We recommend you put radiator inlet/outlet closer to upper water neck since that hose will more visible.
The dual pass design means coolant passes through TWO times instead of ONE. Which, even more simply put means TWICE the cooling & half the size. Both inlets are on same side of radiator & a plate is welded inside between the two inlets. Radiator has two L brackets on each side that you bolt to core support. This radiator doesn't use any of OEM radiator mounting points, & it's easier to install & un-install.
