Fuel Line Kit for 1989 - 2002 Nissan 180SX / 200SX / 240SX / Silvia with GM LS by Chase Bays
The Chase Bays AN Fuel Line Kit for LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6 V8 swapped Nissan 240sx / Silvia is designed for enthusiasts who want to upgrade their fuel lines and fuel filter with high end components and stealthy design. If applicable, this allows you to adapt an aftermarket fuel rail or fuel pressure regulator (FPR) seamlessly. The kit is assembled with all black aluminum A.N. fittings and -6AN stainless steel reinforced hose with high heat nylon sheathing. Chase Bays uses the best components in the industry and they pressure test every line we assemble. Chase Bays guarantees a leak free start up if this product is installed correctly.
This deletes a portion of the engine bay feed hard line and replaces the filter. In factory form its ugly, bulky, and routed inefficiently. Often in the way of other components. You will cut the feed hard line back about 6" inches to match the return hard line length. This provides a nice tidy look and gives the filter a new mounting location. See photo below for visual reference.
Stock FPR kit has 2 hoses. The feed line routes from the hard line to the inline fuel filter. The inline filter mounts directly to the fuel rail closer to the front of the engine using a 90º coupler and adapter for the fuel rail. The return line is easy enough, attaching from the pressure regulator output to the hardline.
The Aftermarket FPR Kit changes the design to integrate the FPR and adds 3 adapters needed for the FPR to attach the lines to. The aftermarket FPR kit does not work with 2 port type, just the 3 port type. It mounts on the driver side shock tower just in front of the master cylinder (see photo below). It is a "dead head" setup which means the FPR is pre-fuel rail. Many kits have the FPR after the fuel rail which makes for 1 extra fuel line and more engine bay clutter. Chase Bays specializes in fixing clutter. The dead head setup is what the 3 port FPR’s were designed for and is common practice in the motorsport world.
