Picked up my Borla system back in 2020 on sale for around 13 or 1400 dollars. to this day its in my opinion the best sounding exhaust for the FK8 CTR. Its loud without the restrictor plates but manageable, take that from someone who's taken this thing cross country from oak harbor Washington to San Diego then saint Augustine Florida. Honestly with the new price tag of around 3k I still say it's worth it to anyone looking to buy. the Sound is deep and throaty with good pops and bangs on down shifts and throttle releases.
