Stage 1 Catch Can CCV for 2015+ Subaru WRX by Boomba Racing
These beautifully machined pieces of billet aluminum are crucial in any direct injected car. They work to collect oil and moisture passing through your vacuum system and to prevent it from entering back into your intake where it would collect on the back of the intake valves and gunk up the inside of your engine, causing carbon build-up.

Installation Instructions
I have the stage 2 Boomba already and I decided to opt in for stage 1 Boomba Catch can to run a double setup. Personally I like monitor the junks so I like to run the catch can. Boomba makes it easier using factory mounting point and easy access to drain the oil stuff out. Easy instructions to follow! Win/Win
Definitely recommended for DIT engine.
Do yourself the favor and grab this for your wrx. Don't forget safe up your engines!
I was a bit intimidated at installing this as I've never done it before. But, it was very simple. If you can read, you can definitely do it. I do wish the set up were reversed in stages. I only say this in the install process, which one you should get first. Stage 2 if anything else. Both, are recommended though. Also, for the 2017 WRX front hoses [is it the CCV?], you wouldn't need to cut anything. For my year, a ring holds the plastic hose and rubber hose together. Pix attached.
