2014-2019 Ford Fiesta ST Short Shifter by Boomba Racing
This high quality shift lever is built for performance without compromising comfort. It installs easily, replacing the OEM shift lever on your Fiesta ST with no modifications required to the surrounding console.
The bend in the short throw shifter has been doubled to 30 degrees, allowing the shift knob to sit closer to the driver in a much more comfortable position, all while retaining full functionality of the reverse lockout. With 3 selectable positions, the shifter can be left in the STOCK position as well as reduce throws by 10% or 25%. The shift lever can also be used in conjunction with Boomba’s fully adjustable Fiesta ST short shifter transmission adapter plate, capable of shortening throws by up to 40%.
The short shifter is designed and manufactured in Boomba's manufacturing facility, right here in the United States and all mounting hardware are included. All shift levers are precision CNC machined black oxide billet steel and black anodized billet aluminum for maximum strength and long lasting durability. A definite mod for daily drivers as well as autocross and road racing enthusiast!

Install is very easy, I already had the adapter plate in the engine bay, just wanted to bring the shift lever into a better range for my arm. After install, I couldn't find 1st unless I pulled the reverse lockout. I took everything apart again and realized the lockout wasn't able to go over far enough to go into first. I got out the dremel kit and ground a little if the stopper off until I could get to first. Works perfect now, and absolutely love it. Only gave it 4 stars due to install issue, don't know if it's a design flaw, or just my luck. In the end, worth every penny. If your thinking about doing it, do it!
After doing the shifter plate both sets of bushings the Boomba shifter was the cherry on top! No extra movement and easy to install. A 40%r eduction in shift throw distance I mean come on people it's seriously a no brainer. Plus it's a cnc'd piece of art in my opinion. Good Job Boomba and thank you MAP for the quick shipping and awesome buying experience. Now if I could get one of those new turbo designs with the offset blades I'd be happy. I forget the companies name that came up with the design but sounds promising. Cheers!
Install isn't that complicated, be patient, follow Boombas instructional video and it goes smoothly. I didn't taper the shaft end, still went in, even pressed it in by hand. Aftermarket shift knobs may cause issues, I have a Cobb knob and the reverse lockout wouldn't clear. I shaved the top of the lockout pull up about 5-6mm in addition to cutting off the corner. Unnoticeable, even with OE knob. I felt shaving the lock up itself that much wasn't the best route. MAP shipping always quick, good deal too.
