Hyundai Veloster N Rear Motor Mount by Boomba Racing
Introducing Boomba Racing's all new Veloster N Rear Motor Mount. This mount is beautifully CNC machined from 6061 aircraft grade billet aluminum in Boomba Racing's own Wood Dale, Il manufacturing headquarters.
This mount features molded in polyurethane bushings, not pressed in bushings like Boomba's competitors. This leads to a much more durable motor mount, since the collar can not rotate in the bushing and cause friction. This mount helps to stabilize the engine during launches, hard acceleration, and aggressive turns. By stabilizing the engine, you reduce wheel hop drastically which leads to more efficient power transfer to the ground.
Boomba has chosen to implement 80 Durometer bushings with this mount, they find it is the perfect middle ground between comfort and performance. The 80 Durometer bushings help to absorb excessive vibrations, while still aiding in putting the power to the ground without insane amounts of wheel hop. Installation is very simple and straight forward, there is no need to support the engine.

Please Note: As with any aftermarket motor mount, there will be added NVH (noise vibration harshness) that wasn't there before. These mounts take 1,000 to 2,000 miles to fully break in.

It does Exactly what it should do, easy install given the location, small cut out in the mount to still access a bolt that sits above it. Vibrations are not that bad, on really noticeable in the 1500 range, more specifically from a stop. Good quality. Noticeable power difference at a launch, highly suggest running very grippy tires if you want to get the full benefit of the launch.
I was skeptical about the reviews since I figured the difference would be less significant than stated and I was hesitant to purchase this in the first place. After installing the car feels completely different. All of the 1st to second gear shudder is completely gone from my 2019 N and the shifting feel is extremely linear. Misshifts will be painful though so be careful about that, it really increases the felt impact from mismatched revs since the motor no longer has a soft surface to push against. The only vibration is at very low RPS, basically when you start off the line it vibrates the car, but otherwise it's unnoticeable.
This is a great product and I'm really happy about my purchase - if you want the car to feel like a planted sports car and less floaty this helps a ton!
The amount of power that stays to the wheels and thusly on the pavement is well worth the extra shimmy upon starting the engine. Also takes a couple of minutes to readjust the sweet spot when slowly taking off in first gear. That being said it's all well worth how much more grip and power you feel well more connected to the power of the car.
Don't actually have the N but it fit my 13 Elantra sedan with a little bracket mod. It's significantly better then the stock mount, really nice quality and almost no engine roll. Would recommend.
