2013-2018 Ford Focus ST Torque Damper Rear Motor Mount by Boomba Racing
Boomba Racing has created an extremely effective and simple way to control the torque, get better traction, increase acceleration & make smoother gear shifts.
These direct bolt-on mounts combine to replace the rear engine torque damper, significantly improving the vehicle’s traction and shifting response by reducing excessive engine flex. Wheel-hop during hard launches is also completely eliminated thanks to these mounts.
Boomba Racing mounts are machined from high quality aircraft grade billet aluminum for strength, durability and looks. Inside each mount you’ll also find solid polyurethane bushings with the rigidity carefully chosen to optimize vehicle stability while also minimizing excessive vibration transfer from the motor to the body.

Torque specs: 45 ft lbs when connecting the bracket to the engine, 70 ft lbs for the vertical bolt that bolts up the mount to the subframe and 75ft lbs for the horizontal bolt that will connect the bracket with the motor mount.

Helps tremendously with wheel hop and torque steer. The nvh is pretty noticeable when idling and first getting off the line but smooths out completely when driving at any speed. I like the shakier feel because it gives the car more of a race car driving experience without being too annoying. Makes everything feel more rigid and solid. Great piece.
Part was shipped out the day after I ordered which I didn't expect in times like these. Install was a breeze with just a jack and a couple of jack stands, took about 30 minutes total. The difference is night and day when doing any kind of aggressive launch or hard acceleration. You will notice a light vibration at very low rpm while starting from a stop so don't be alarmed.

Solid piece to upgrade to help put the power down. A bit cumbersome to install but with the right tools at hand and install vids available, any novice can put it together. NVH is definitely noticable, especially with AC on as many have noted, be patient and let it break in.. also be prepared to learn to shift out of 1st around 1500 rpms or where ever is comfortable for you to reduce the amount of shudder thru the drive line.. quality materials, affordable price, awesome customer service and shipped/delivered in time for install day.
