Electronic Exhaust Valve Simulators by AWE Tuning

When installing certain AWE Tuning exhaust systems, the stock exhaust valves are eliminated. This can trigger a code in your ECU that may not cause any performance-related problems but can tend to cause a check engine light to appear.

The AWE Tuning Exhaust Valve Simulators plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves and will prevent any such code from being stored in the ECU due to the removal of the stock valves.

Works like a charm on S63 coupe

My exhaust valves stopped working due to flooding and it caused a soft error which resulted in reduced power.
Opened the flaps manually and installed these simulators and the faults are gone and car has full power again.
Great investment to save money on new actuators and have better sound in all modes.

Easy Mod and add some rumble

I installed these on my AMG C63s because I wanted the exhaust valves to stay open. I also heard that at idle even with the exhaust set to sport, the valves were closed a little. Installation was easy and the car definitely has a deeper rumble at idle especially when in sport or sport+.
