SB8-XTSS kit features ACT's popular Xtreme pressure plate and most popular street disc. ACT Xtreme pressure plates use exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance.
ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency. ACT's Performance Street discs feature premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. These discs have reduced marcel for faster shift action to complement ACT pressure plates, with increased strength and reliability.

The clutch arrived in a well protected package, and the instillation went well.
The engine revs so freely and happily, I would recommend this product to anyone for a DD build/spirited driving with reservations to those, who live in a heavily congested cities (top 4 cities by population) with stop and go traffic.
Clutch chatter is a "thing" but I cannot hear it from within the cabin unless I am lugging the engine.
NOT NEEDED but recommended is a tune to increase idle RPMS by 200-300 to make daily driving easier, but once again this is only a recommendation and is not needed.

Very pleased with the ACT xtreme clutch kit. Install of the parts was easy, finished in an afternoon. Clutch chatter is more prenounced especially if you are not used to driving a lightened flywheel. Once you get the hang of engagement points it isn't terrible. Pedal feel is heavier but not quite as much as I expected. Packaging was solid and product arrived quickly. Will absolutely buy again!
