Opinion:
After reviewing all the shortcuts you can take on the internet these tools prove to be your best option. Much cheaper to invest in these than screw up expensive cam gears.
Quality:
Quality is on par. Rigid metal with a nice plating to prevent corrosion. Great craftsmanship on the weld for the intake cam tool.
The pattern cut into the exhaust cam tool seems to be about a half a millimeter too tight. It could just be the one I received particularly. A couple of taps with a very light Diplo gently, persuaded it to do its job. See pics...
Summary:
Overall extremely satisfied with nice quality tools. Company 23s tool it's still to me one of the best options over all the generic stuff you find on the internet.
Great tool. Works better than the Subaru provided special tool.
Arrived quickly and is exacly what was needed for the work involved.
