Transitioned to the R400 from the Remark axle back, and it’s definitely worth it. Was going to buy the mid pipe for my axle back but the reviews for the R400 were too good to pass up, and it doesn’t disappoint. Deeper rumble and less drone made the purchase a no brainer
Definitely the rumble I was looking for can’t ask for anything better .
me gusta como suena y como luce mi subaru wrx sti
The exhaust system was easy to install, made out of high quality materials, and sounds absolutely amazing. The deep tone really brings out the boxer rumble and makes the car sound mean. The only drawback is the drone in the 2500-2900rpm/68-76mph range. The first long drive I made with the exhaust almost drove me crazy. The best way I can describe it is being inside of a drum while somebody is pounding on it. It’s more of the pressure of the sound wave than the volume that is aggravating. After a few hundred miles, it either mellowed out or I got used to it.
It's awesome, I love the deep rumble sound of my 2020 STI. It's definitely not quite sound if that's what you are looking for. I wouldn't recommend it for subie owners with younger kids or baby's, it definitely has a deep Drone sound inside the cab.
